“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways," says the Lord. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.”
Faith is not built on understanding, it is built on trusting the One who understands all things.
Faith is not built on understanding, it is built on trusting the One who understands all things. God’s ways often seem mysterious because He sees the end from the beginning. What appears confusing to us is perfectly clear to Him.
The revelation of this passage is that God’s higher ways are not meant to distance us from Him but to invite us into deeper trust. When He withholds an explanation, He is often cultivating dependence. If we understood everything God was doing, faith would no longer be necessary.
Every delay, detour, or unanswered question is an opportunity to believe that God’s wisdom is greater than our own. His silence does not mean His absence, and His timing is never late. Behind every circumstance He is working His perfect purpose, even when it is hidden from our natural eyes.
Trust God not because everything makes sense, but because the One leading you is faithful and cannot fail.
I declare that I will trust God’s wisdom above my own understanding. Even when I cannot see the way, I know He is leading me. His thoughts are higher, His plans are perfect, and His purpose for my life will prevail. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
