“Then He said to them, 'What do you have in your hand?'”
Many people delay stepping into purpose because they are focused on what they do not have.
Many people delay stepping into purpose because they are focused on what they do not have. They believe they need more resources, more connections, more experience, or more ability before God can use them. But God often begins with what is already in your hands.
When God called Moses, he did not ask for something extraordinary—He asked about the ordinary staff Moses was already carrying. That simple staff became a tool through which God displayed His power and fulfilled His purpose.
The revelation of Exodus 4:2 is that God does not need what you lack; He wants what you are willing to surrender. The ordinary becomes extraordinary when it is placed in the hands of God.
Your gift, your story, your experience, your voice, and even your struggles can become instruments of His glory. Do not underestimate what God can do through a surrendered life.
Stop waiting until you have everything. Start with what God has already placed within you. When you offer it to Him, He knows how to multiply its impact.
I declare that what God has placed within me has purpose. I will not despise small beginnings or compare my journey with others. I surrender what I have, and God will use it for His glory. Amen.
