God’s greatest desire is not simply to give you what you are praying for; it is to transform you into who He created you to become. Before He places something in your hands, He often works something within your heart.
Many times, we focus on the promise while God is focused on the person receiving the promise. He knows that the blessing must be carried by a character that can sustain it. The process of becoming is not a delay to the promise—it is preparation for it.
The revelation of Romans 8:29 is that God’s ultimate purpose is transformation. He is shaping you to reflect Christ in your thoughts, choices, attitudes, and actions. Every season, challenge, and lesson is being used by God to mature you and align you with His purpose.
Do not be discouraged by the areas where God is still working on you. Growth is evidence that He is involved. The Potter is not finished with the clay. Trust the process, because God is developing the person who can walk confidently in the assignment He has prepared.
I declare that God is transforming me into the person He created me to be. I embrace His process, trust His timing, and allow Him to shape my character for His purpose. I am becoming who He has called me to be. Amen.
